I have said goodbye to Twitter. I couldn’t have picked a better time doing so right before the 4 days Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The following day I found myself at a little place in Montrose. Eating. I spend a great deal of my time eating. I savor food the way one would savor books or art. I never eat till I am overfull. I eat because I love food. I reserve simple food to sustain me when I am hungry. When I am hungry I tend to be a voracious eater. I gobble it up very quickly. This is why days like this in Montrose, sitting beside a window with my significant other looking at the quirky art and watching the breeze blow the yellow flowers outside, I eat slow and deliberate. I look at the food, take in the aroma and every bite is better than the next. The conversation is low and quiet. Restaurants like these are like my library. They deliver memory, space, time, bits of inspiration, and I always leave with more than I came for.
